• In FIMA I served as Secretary General for one full term. That time Kareem Irfan Saab was the President and Mukthar Maruf Saab was Vice President,  Abubaker saab was the Treasurer and Harris Aydeed  Saab was Assit Secretary. During that period I was also the President of Tamil Nadu Muslim Cultural Association which I represented in FIMA .
• During the entire period of three years, this FIMA EC team coordinated well n worked in the interest of our community in Kuwait.
• We made FIMA as one of the prestigious Indian Association among many other Indian Associations functioning  in Kuwait.
• We maintained close and cordial relationship with Indian Embassy in Kuwait and  tookup many community issues with Embadsy officials to help our compatriot.
• During that period only we started to celebrate Holy Month of Ramadan by conducting Grand Ifrat Party in Star Hotels, inviting Ind Ambassador as chief guest, other prominent guest speakers , Kuwaiti personalities  and Indian Dignitaries  which made good image of our community and FIMA in Kuwait.
• The epitome of our social activities during our tenure was the Celebration of the year Anniversary of FIMA in Mishref Indoor At this grand occasion the guest speakers who graced that occasion were: 

                      – N RAM of Hindu News Paper        – Vinod Dua of NDTV ( Hindi Edition)        – Mahesh Butt – Hindi Film Director.

• All these speakers delivered excellent speeches on the virtues and unique nature of Indian Democracy and it’s importance n relevance of in d modern world. All the speakers were awarded FIMA EXCELLENCE AWARD – made of Gold . At this function A Souvenir was released by then Ambassador highlighting FIMA’s aactivities.
